He is a very big petrolhead. He used to own a beautiful mclaren f1! Which he crashed and fought to rebuild.

I think it’s an old video and I’d be interested to find out the latest on what Atkinson thinks and the current state of the law on this stuff. There was a change made about 10 years ago apparently to section 57 of the crime and courts act . http://reformsection5.org.uk/

That's funny because Rowan is best known for a character named Mr. Bean who doesn't speak much at all.

True, worldwide he's best known as Mr Bean, but in the UK he's also just as popular for his role in the 4 Blackadder series. One of the best UK comedies ever.

genius idea for the future:
  • buy swearing licenses in bulk, resell them at 20% premium for a swearing event.
  • obtain permit for a swearing demonstration.
  • arrange for security to police anyone who is tempted to move from empty threats into physical threats or for "looking threatening"
  • enjoy a free speech conference!
