Hello Stackers!

It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" 😉.

From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.

This month we're going after those Jazz feelings,
It's a genre most wouldn't explore often so let's explore it here!

So let's hear them!

This week I'm bringing THE Ray Charles - Georgia on my mind.

Let's Talk Music. Share Tracks. Zap Sats.

The art of trading phrases (usually fours) is one of the jazz musician's favorite activities. After everybody has been able to improvise their longer solo statements, these shorter, even more interactive conversations are a great way to end a song. Here are a few friends and I, four stories underground, in the dark days of covid, trading eights and fours over the changes to the old tune Witchcraft.

This is 🔥🔥🔥 you guys are great. Sounds fantastic. I love the trading phrases you're all doing. It adds a really fun back and forth element to the piece. Nice one all of you 👊

Turning red up there already? Apparently Scotland's seeing the turn already.

Nat King Cole, bow in the presence of greatness 🫡, such a gorgeous voice. Truly iconic, the sound of a generation.

Not quite fall colours yet but give it another month or so and they will start.

So easy to listen to, just sounds fantastic. @JerryGarcia s vintage tune of the day featured a lot of blues, maybe it's worth taking a look at making blues a feature month? Or maybe a weekly thread?
