I have not left the island in months, but I think once you get in the Philippines the hurdles are over.
On the ground on the island, you see 95% of the population with masks with them but not necessarily being worn properly until you are in a high density area. In the high density area there is a gentle reminder to wear the mask at most.
From skimming that link, looks like they’re also getting in on the quarantine hotel scam. I get weirded out by the use of masks outside, I’ve seen that in a few LatinAm countries. Signals is sort of complacency that I’m not comfortable with, having said that many were complacent in EU and aren’t wearing masks outside. 🤷🏼♂️
