Back again for another edition of Unhittable, where we marvel at the wonder that is modern day pitching.
Thanks to pitching ninja, Rob Friedman, let’s have a look at a nasty 85mph sweeper from Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller.
Normally a sweeper from a Right Handed pitcher to a Left Handed batter is a bit of a dangerous pitch as the ball is sweeping in towards the hitters bat path but this one was executed so perfectly it didn’t matter. Keller starts the pitch on the outer half of the plate and it has so much run it almost hits the batter’s back leg.
That pitch was unhittable!
