This is the way and whoever will receive your stack will be very thankful. Hopefully they are as humble as you, hodling for eternity.
If you hodl it for eternity, and don't spend it - what on God's green earth makes you think that other people will want to adopt it as a currency? If no one uses it to buy anything.

I think you misunderstood my post. I run a routing node and spend sats on the lightning network as much as is practical. I'm doing what I can to speed adoption, but I suspect it will still be a long process.

Have you heard about collateral? Use a small stack as collateral and you are fine. No one was spending Gold on a Gold-standard.

That makes some sense, it could be a form of collateral for paper money. Or Lightning transactions.

Exactly, to re-establish trust in paper-money IMO. A Bitcoin Standard, where everyone can verify if governments abuse their power.
