Today I'm back with some new street photography photos I took during another rainy day. That's right, the rainy season in Venezuela has just begun!
During this photo outing, I managed to collect quite a few photos of people using umbrellas, which is an element I've really enjoyed using in my photography!
I'll start with this photo of a mother and daughter. The little girl almost seems to have noticed that I was taking them a picture!
A spontaneous portrait:
A lady with a collar and an umbrella in her hand:
This girl looked like she was in a hurry, walking very fast:
I like the lines in the following photo as a compositional method:
I really like the next photo because I managed to frame the person within the frame behind, all in a matter of seconds:
In the next photo, I like that the umbrella almost seems to be shining:
And more people using umbrellas on this rainy day:
All these photos were taken on the same day, so yes, there were a lot of people on the streets!
This poor woman didn't have an umbrella and was under a roof trying to shelter from the rain:
I also took a couple of photos of the public transport buses. I'm trying to collect photos of the different public transport routes that exist in my city. These are some of them:
I like how I managed to capture the movement and the people inside the vehicle in the following two photos, all in a matter of seconds:
When I got home, I looked out the window and saw a very curious scene. There was a pigeon literally taking a shower. I watched as it raised its wings to let the water fall and it was cleaning itself, hahaha!
I hope this set of street photography photos has transported you to the streets of my city on a rainy day. Each image tells a story, captures a fleeting moment, and reflects the beauty of the everyday.
Thank you for joining me on this photographic journey!
