Siggy’s SuggestionsSiggy’s Suggestions

This article by Lyn Alden completely snuck past me, as it seems to have many stackers here. You don’t need to run an enormous public company to benefit from the ideas presented here. I am in the process of using these principles for my own small family business. Thanks to @gnomebtc for posting.

I am choosing as a suggestion a link post to an article that received 0 sats and 0 comments. Somehow I did not notice this post at all. I noticed the link was to a Harper’s article, though, so I was curious. I used to read Harpers a lot, before my notion of their political bias made it difficult for me to ignore. Still, the writing was always top notch. So, I read this article, and it was thought provoking. It also got me thinking that there should be a place in this territory for well written non fiction, regardless of topic. Maybe there will be more engagement for posts like this in the future.

This week’s Golden Oldie:

This is a good one by @StillStackinAfterAllTheseYears. I know it’s listed in the Book Review section below, and I may have even featured it as a Golden Oldie in the past. I don’t care, because this is a great post about a topic that is relevant to all stackers. Enjoy!

Fun post by @Golu

He also won fun fact friday this week.

Taking SN by storm.

Also, fun fact, he is @Coinsreporter's brother.

reply

I just checked he won!

Congrats 🎉 🎉

Yes, he's my brother but it's also true I've been trying to take him to SN ever since I joined. I always knew his talent of bringing humour in small things. Now when he's here, I'm happy he's making good strides.

reply

I expect to see some ugly brother to brother rivalry too. The competition will make you both better.

reply

We don't fight at all but often we are at war with each other.

reply

Yes, he mentioned to me when he first joined that he was your brother. Nice job convicing him to join. I have enjoyed my interactions with him.

What! did I just win?
Am I late to the celebration?

reply

A very good question in the territory by @Golu . I think we all enjoy the question. Keep it up @Golu

reply

I'm curious if anyone's familiar with Roger Ver's new book. I was surprised to see Steve Patterson coauthor an anti-bitcoin book.

reply

Are you talking about Hijacking Bitcoin? I think there have been a bunch of posts about it here.
This one, for instance:
#509319

reply

Yes, I forgot that people had already written about it. I wasn't really interested in it, before I realized Steve was involved.

reply

I think I posted about it too. I didn't read it either, but I thought it was weird that Jeffery Tucker wrote the forward.

reply

I hadn't realized that either, but I'm used to Tucker being somewhat erratic.

reply

I think we're really having some fun in this territory

reply

Thanks for re-mentioning that posted article. I thought it was well-written.

reply

It really was

Woo! Thanks for the Golden Oldie shout out!
Also, I absolutely love well-written non-fiction, and had also missed that Harper's piece. Another reason I love getting these recaps.

reply

Amazon denies I exist, but Snowden sells. That says something to me, but I'm not sure what it is.

reply

Thanks man
