which is easier, fluency in understanding or speaking?
Understanding native speakers was always difficult for me.
Listening to Spanish or French radio or television w/o subtitles? That was a challenge
For me understanding is usually harder than speaking. Although, there have been times when I could puzzle out what was said and I definitely wouldn't have known how to say it.
