The title is hyperbolic, and it appears that Gladstein reported it as a mistake that he wasn't aware of, but it's a small demonstration of how relatively permissioned bitcoin media is. The talk's title is a riff on the idea of technologically enabled post-capitalism leading to "luxury communism." I don't really believe in post-capitalism because I view capitalism more as a moral framework than an economic one. But if Paez is right, hopefully I'm dead by then because it sounds about as appealing as old fashioned communism where all power is political power.

I really appreciate Margot's work regarding bitcoin mining but ideologically she is very aligned to the leftist, victimhood, whiner crowd. I have a hard time taking her seriously on anything except her science.

She did jump the gun and tends to let the more caustic figures in bitcoin get under her skin, but I'm really glad she keeps at it. We need people publicly challenging bitcoiners on their shit.

I must say, you have been elevating these link context posts to a new level!
I suspect this never would have happened but for the HRF involvement. Gladstein is not a one man show there. I expect a certain level of bureaucracy exists. I for one can't expect everyone to hold my libertarian leaning towards anarchic political values.

I skimmed the transcript. She writes capitalism is based on artificial scarcity.
What is artificial scarcity?
Sounds like Affluent Society by Galbraith
