Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.
Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!
We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!
For a few years now I've wonder how the hell I could monetize open rebellion...
The conclusion is to starve myself in public while creating illegal, provocative content, spending what I earn in the only real, free markets left on the planet, like here!
Sounds like a plan, eh?

People tend to view art and beauty as additions and auxiliaries to the pragmatic, rational, regimented, utility-focused “real life.” I think it’s the other way around. Materialistic and rigid “real life” only exists for us to be able to fully experience and appreciate the magic of poetry, of art, of beauty, of nature, of life itself. That’s love. And that’s what life’s all about. Clip from: Dead Poets Society (1989)

Today there has been talk, at least I have been doing so, about freedom of expression, the right to privacy.
This has been in light of the news about X censorship, where some point out that it is possible that Elon is manipulating information, since he accuses various governments and personalities of censoring X when he himself is censoring on his platform.
Another news has been related to the arrest of Durov.
The legal measures in Florida to confiscate books in schools, and the approval of laws that allow mass surveillance in the European Union.
Some of this news may not be entirely true or may be manipulated, like that of the magnate Elon, others may be an excuse to violate the privacy and rights of citizens. But what we can be sure of is that all governments, whatever their line, do not want citizens to have the political, economic and civil freedom that corresponds to them.
So let us be aware that a real hostile scenario is presenting itself before us. Let's protect our privacy and rights by adopting Bitcoin, utilizing FoS protocols like Nostr for social networking, which already exist, and other applications or clients that give us the freedom we desire.

The Heritage Foundation is behind both Project 2025 and Obamacare.

Not defending them but that claim sounds a little outlandish. Obama credited them for the idea, but I don't think any conservative think tank would have promoted his monstrosity. https://www.forbes.com/sites/johngoodman/2016/02/15/where-did-the-idea-of-obamacare-come-from-a-defense-of-the-heritage-foundation/

At university I had a professor I really liked, he taught my favorite subject and we always talked, he had to leave Venezuela for reasons we already know; he emigrated to Brazil. Years later I saw that he made posts in support of socialism in Brazil, at first I thought it was a mistake or that it was sarcasm... Until Milei won in Argentina and he made another post showing his discontent. I wrote to him immediately: Why do you support the left? - He answered me: "In the case of Argentina, because it was the least bad. It was the left or barbarism." I blocked him immediately, I wanted to insult him and say: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN YOUR MIND?? YOU LEFT VENEZUELA BECAUSE YOUR PROFESSOR'S SALARY WAS ONLY ENOUGH FOR COFFEE!! YOUR FATHER DIED AND YOU COULD NOT BE WITH HIM. DID YOU FORGET THE LINES TO GET FOOD AND MEDICINE??? ... I saved my words, I didn't say anything to him, it was a great disappointment for me, how can someone so intelligent be an imbecile at the same time? Now that Lula banned X in Brazil I wanted to write to him: I told you so. Once again I saved my words. https://m.stacker.news/49308

Left, Right. What is the real difference between these two political tendencies?
I don't really see much difference and in the end they give each other "chocolate" as they say in Venezuela. It is true that Brazil and Venezuela blocked X, but the fact is that the Democratic candidate of the USA announced that she would block X if she is elected.
The question is not of political tendency, the problem is the politicians, today they go in one direction, tomorrow if something doesn't suit them, they forget their campaign speech and take another direction.
In Venezuela itself, the Adecos and the Copei were mortal enemies, Chavismo arrived and those who previously hated each other became friends. El Salvador is more of the same and if tomorrow in the United States a third party appears, different from the Democrats and Republicans, the current arch enemies become friends.
Neither left nor right, neither one nor the other. They are all the same.
The truly intelligent will be on the side of Bitcoin and its environment.

Day 503 of snailposting everyday 'til BTC hits $100k.
__@_'-'
Yesterday I had a productive and active day here, taking advantage of the work break.
Today I hope it will be the same. In general I ended my day happy and Stacker News gives me the possibility to find everything and gives me the opportunity to express what I think, although at some point I have to be careful, because we all have the right to express what we think but we have the duty to respect the rights of others and not to harm others. But anyway I feel very happy. I hope we are all the same today.
Some will not be able to be happy because something does not allow them to be, my most sincere wish is that they can solve whatever this is if it is in their hands, but if they can't then they have the strength to endure.

No Fly List

The official narrative regarding the “The No Fly List” describes it as a database controlled by the United States Federal Government and maintained by the “Terrorist Screening Center” using an algorithmic ruleset, issued by various government agencies and airlines to decide who to allow and deny to board airline flights, under the guise of “national security”.
However this “official narrative” is quickly defeated when it becomes apparent that what is truly being said; the list is for people so dangerous they should never be allowed to fly on an airplane, yet so innocent that they cannot be arrested.
This conflict of narratives exposes the truth; taking away your right to travel if you do not do as you are told.
However, and this should be obvious:
  • Who’s list?
  • Who’s authority?
When did you give your authority to be added to this list, and who did you give permission to?
