ATTENTION PARENTS!
I have revamped my LNBITS bitcoin piggy bank so you don't need to deploy it yourself. Check it out at http://bitcoinpiggybank.vercel.app. All you need now is a LNBITS wallet. I've deployed a website that you can just log into with that and nothing else. I'm thinking about actually renting out my own domain for this one if people find it useful.
Teach your kids about sound money while they're actually stacking sats and using a fun interface.

It’s honestly the first thing I encountered to deploy stuff with, so I just kind of went with it. There have been a handful of things I made that I couldn’t get working with vercel and used render. Just knowing those two, they seem pretty similar in terms of throwing something up quick using a remote server.

Very nice, when I have kids I will definitely teach them this. I grew up with a piggy bank as a kid and it was very rewarding seeing the stash grow penny by penny, now it will be sat by sat!

I think the concept is fantastic, and I’ve really enjoyed using it with my nephews :). It’s a tool with great potential for teaching kids about saving money. However, I do have a few suggestions that could improve the overall experience.
First, while a couple of the videos are good for kids, most of the other information feels a bit too complex for younger users. It might be helpful to include more engaging, kid-friendly content like interactive graphics or fun, educational games. This could make the learning experience more enjoyable and accessible for children.
Additionally, I found the way transactions are presented a little difficult to follow, even as an adult. Simplifying the layout or providing a clearer format might make it easier for both kids and adults to track savings and spending.
aaaand maybe considering the font? :D what happend there?

Yeah, so it’s actually lightning only. If you setup a wallet using LNBITS, this is basically just a mask you can put on it to use it like a piggy bank.
And you’re right. I just checked it out and should probably redo that video without all the stumbling and stuttering.
