She is the real thing? Its not easy to know these days...
Human Rights Watch is not exactly a neutral organization: "HRW lists the left-of-center Ford Foundation as a partner1 and has received major funding from prominent left-of-center foundations, including the Open Society Foundations, the MacArthur Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation."
Sorry if I impose or push too much darkness, its just that once you see these patterns they are hard to unsee...

Don't apologize, your opinion is valid, I thank you for that information, now I have homework to investigate, I'm not very aware of what you mention. I don't trust politicians, they all look out for their own interests, but for now she is the one who is leading this whole issue of the opposition and seeking to finally overthrow Chavismo after 25 years. Honestly, all these years the opposition has been a ridiculous circus, which are also socialists, by the way, in Venezuela there are no right-wing political parties, something terrible to tell the truth, Maria Corina is the only one who defines herself as liberal.
I found this news interesting and shared it.

I really have no opinion on Venezuela when it comes to details like this, never been there and have no real insight.
Also I didn't want to add any darkness, but I guess that is fine when you say that you do not trust any politician, I guess that goes for virtually anyone who has found there way here :-)
Lets hope Bitcoin and real decentralization can at least help with these things!

In Venezuela, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general have helped people a lot, they have helped them preserve value, I had even read a news story a couple of years ago, that there was a restaurant franchise that was paying its employees with crypto (it was not in sats), also many local businesses and small entrepreneurs accept cryptocurrencies, all this change from Fiat to crypto currency happened organically and not imposed by others, Venezuelans got tired of seeing how the local currency devalued every day and looked for better alternatives.

I remember seeing some videos of people using Dash, yes :-)
Would guess that some use Monero too?
Whatever works is what people will do I guess, hopefully the knowledge of Lightning is spreading...

I have a huge desire to return to Venezuela, firstly to hug my family that I haven't seen for many years and secondly to travel around Venezuela and do interviews in all the states about their knowledge in bitcoin and spread the message throughout the country.
It would be a kind of Jehovah's Witness, but instead of Jesus, Bitcoin

Now that is another good reason to get into writing or producing content of any sort so that you can do that trip, representing someone who can back you, when the time is right :-)

Bitcoin empower the individual, not the state! Don't let them fool you with puppet "opposition". In order to be free you MUST go on the path of sovereign individual. You will remember my words...
