There's a bug if you have only load images from proxy enabled in your settings. I am on Brave and it works without. We'll deploy the fix soon.

use https://nostr.build or any other video hosting platform that can provide a link to the video. Then just post the link to the video. Done.

Hosting videos on SN server will be costly. People tend to abuse. So a "pay to upload" system must be in place then.

We already have that system in place for images. Uploads are also exclusive to SN content. If you don't include an image (or video in the future) within 24 hours in a SN post, we will delete it.

Maybe it's not a bug but actually intended since that setting is to prevent IP address leaks to arbitrary sites.
It's possible then to upload videos?
Not yet but when, then that setting will allow you to load videos exclusively from our domain.
