stims dont affect me , so if i drink a coffee, i literally don't feel anything. i can have a double espresso and take a nap, energy drinks do nothing and pre workouts also do, literally, nothing for me
that being said, i have an espresso in the morning while driving the kids to school simply as it's nice to have a morning ritual.
I'll also get a capuchino or something in Starbucks etc, just as a form of desert.
one thing most people don't know is that the half-life of caffeine can be up to 5 hours (so one cup could take up to 10 hours to fully metabolise for some people) and any caffeine in the system will fuck up sleep quality (even if you are sleeping, the quality is degraded)
since sleeo quality is the most important health and performance factor, IMO, best to get in any coffee drinking before 10-11am, depending on when you go to bed
