Jony Ive has confirmed that he’s working with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on an AI hardware project. The confirmation came today as part of a profile of Ive in The New York Times, nearly a year after the possibility of a collaboration between Altman and the longtime Apple designer was first reported on.

Sad to hear that one of the greatest product designers of our time fell for the hype and got lured into an evil company full of hypesters and scammers (and now all kinds of three letter agencies).
My prediction is that this product will fail and Ive will never create anything if greatness again. Purely baed on my gut feelings and by virtue of being a natural born pessimist :)
