Ours loves surprising people, so it’s usually a loud “SURPRISE!!!” right as she’s landing on your stomach.

I dont mind the surprise so much when they land on your stomach. What really bothers me is when their head hits my chin. I think I have PTSD from it. Especially during reading time, bouncing in my lap.

Ha! We have one who likes to sneak in and fall asleep next to me (lovely!) and another who runs in and jumps on any sleeping parent like a wrestler leaping from the top of the ring ropes (less lovely)…

I dont mind when they come in and nap beside me. But usually they are like a space heater, holy smokes. They give off so much heat!
