Antpool and F2pool are essentially the same pool. They do it to hide their dominance.
They were bad actors during the block size wars supporting bcash.
They use their latest models and then sell it after use.
The list is long, these are but a few.

Their main goal is to sell pre-mined coins to bag holders. They pitched 30 second settlement as the only benefit that I could see.
