That's why decentralized alternatives are important (or even other regular services/forums) . I know it is convenient to have the same interface and account for every community a person is part of, however this is one of the downsides.
Hopefully this results in other forms of protest that mods come up
If my sub / community the tight and big enough, I would move out of reddit. The software is not that great anyways.
I set up Lemmy during the original exodus but never actually left Reddit. Momentum kind of faltered for the Lemmy/Kbin/Mbin communities.

Yes, a shame. Change takes time, but I believe it is the right direction.
