Just last night I posted about this and how it was expected to reach and hit as a Cat 3. Well now its already a Cat 3 going to a Cat 4 and could briefly hit a Cat 5. Luckily there is some dry air and wind sheer between Hurricane Milton and Florida which should wreaken it.

While a Major Hurricane is going to hit Flordia the models still show it going straight East across Florida saving the other areas impacted by Helene. Fingers crossed it falls back to a Cat 3 and doesn't hit as a Cat 4 because really we just do not need this in this area of the country right now two weeks after Helene.
