are you guys familiar with this theory? i watch a fair bit of the Danny Jones podcast and he always has content on this type of stuff and i think it's quite compelling

There is definitely something. Watch some early Ancient Aliens series and try to concentrate on the facts they present, it is definitely interesting. Some facts about
Chichen Itza, Mexico and Saqqara, Egypt, etc. Even in our backyard in the west in Arizona Hopi tribes and their petroglyphs.... Most religions of the world talking about beings coming from the sky. They didn't know any better so it must be Angels or God himself. Don't want to start religious wars here but when you think about it for a second beyond your beliefs it is getting really interesting... just saying.

Yeah I think there's lots of overlap. Chris Bledsoe's first story about the orbs is pretty wild. Fayetteville, North Carolina, multiple witnesses over multiple hours, and he seems like a pretty sincere guy:
