In Utah there is a Quaking Aspen that is the largest single organism in the world.

Pando is believed to be the largest, most dense organism ever found at nearly 13 million pounds. The clone spreads over 106 acres, consisting of over 40,000 individual trees. The exact age of the clone and its root system is difficult to calculate, but it is estimated to have started at the end of the last ice age (2.6 million years ago). Some of the trees are over 130 years old. It was first recognized by researchers in the 1970s and more recently proven by geneticists. Its massive size, weight, and prehistoric age have caused worldwide fame.

They do it temporarily for the ceremony and after it they eat very less to become normal. I wonder what takes them more time growing or losing weight?

I think the second one must be harder. May be some of them could never get back to their normal shape. But the humid climate of Ethiopia, I think, helps them reshape their bodies.

Nowhere is it stipulated that Bern is in fact the official capital of Switzerland

Two laws – Article 32 of the Act on the Federal Assembly and Article 58 of the Government and Administration Organisation Act – mention simply that “The Federal Assembly meets in Bern” and “The official seat of the Federal Council, the departments and the Federal Chancellery is the City of Bern”.

Bees Recognize Human Faces:Bees Recognize Human Faces:

Bees are not just good at finding flowers—they are also capable of recognizing human faces. While bees don’t have the same complex brain structures as humans, they use something called configural processing, which is the same method humans use to recognize faces. Instead of seeing a face as a whole, bees break down a face into individual components—such as the eyes, nose, and mouth—and remember how these parts are arranged.

SourceSource

This ability was proven in a 2005 study where bees were trained to associate certain human faces with rewards (sugar water) and others with no reward. Over time, they learned to differentiate between the faces and fly toward the one that would give them the sugar reward. This is particularly remarkable because a bee’s brain is incredibly small compared to a human's, yet they can handle this complex task.

If you point your car keys to your head, it increases the remote’s signal range.

All the fluids in your head act as a fantastic conductor, allowing you to extend the remote’s range by a few car lengths.

Yep, I do this all the time. It's probably not healthy, though.

Wombat poop is cube-shaped! Wombats, native to Australia, produce feces in the form of small cubes. This unique shape prevents the poop from rolling away and helps mark their territory. Scientists believe it’s due to how their intestines form and compress the waste.

Did you know the Flute echoes 5 times inside the Taj Mahal?

The acoustics inside the main dome, which soars to 240 feet, can cause the single note of a flute to echo five times. The meticulously engineered and decorated Taj Mahal required 22 years of labor by 20,000 workers. And more than 1,000 elephants were deployed to carry construction materials. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/article/taj-mahal-1

More than 20 replicas of the Taj Mahal has been built around the world but none can replicate the magic it enshrines. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taj_Mahal_replicas_and_derivatives
