This territory could be called 'movies and tvseries', that's not the primary focus of my post. I'm genuinely curious about this particular TV series. Given my preference for this genre and its impressive IMDb rating, I'm eager to hear from stackers who have watched it and can provide their insights.
EXCELLENT series! A must watch!
I would start with the prequels, that present the story of Dutton family from the beginning. It will make much more sense of what is ha`penning in the original series Yellowstone.

With the series still going, I think it'd be cool to get a better understanding of the history behind it. These mini-series look like a great place to start. Thanks!

Watching first those mini series, you will understand better why Dutton is like he is and all the story with the indians "friends" and such. His character comes from far away from his ancestors. Really good series.
Kevin Costner now is continuing this "western" series of movies with the recent 2 new movies: Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2
Another 2 good pieces.

I am not one of those people that dislikes TV/movies just cuz everyone else loves them. I wanted to like it. but I have watched several episodes from 2 seasons of it and I don't see the big appeal. It's just one crazy, far-fetched situation after another. Seems like a soap opera with cowboys. Most people I know LOVE IT.

It starts out really violent but I liked it quite a bit.

It's become clear to me lately that series with high mortality rates are often quite popular. Thanks for the observation.
