This week we head to Bridal Veil Falls located about 15 minute drive east of Chilliwack, BC. I believe there are numerous waterfalls that have the "Bridal Veil" name, in fact we've been to the one in Yosemite, but this one is in BC, Canada. This is a very easy and short 1km out-and-back hike with minimal elevation gain. The trail is also wide and flat. Due to its easy difficulty and well maintained trail conditions, the trail and falls are very popular with numerous visitors. The falls got its name from its falling waters having a veil like effect. The fall is very pretty and hikers are able to get right up close to the falls by continuing past the end of the marked trail. Although, as you get closer to the falls, you will get wet from the falling water mist.
Small creek runs along the trail.
Bridge to cross the creek.
Crossing the wooden bridge. Trail is flat and wide.

Saw this animal while walking closer to the falls. It's a newt, maybe?
Downstream, water flowing from the falls.

I like how you did the far away shot of the falls and then the close up ones. Beautiful.

There was a constant drizzle as we got close to the falls and got us all wet. But it was a special experience being so close to a waterfall. I think this one was one of the closest we could get to a waterfall amongst all the waterfalls we've visited.
