Yes, I know. This is why people may want to exchange CC and get less sats in return.
Say I have 100k CC and I want to turn some of them into sats so I message you "hey darth I will give you 80k cowboy credits and you give me 60k sats'. I deposit CC to your wallet on SN and post a 60k sats lightning invoice that you pay.
Of course this would require some trust between the parties.

Use Robosats if you do not have that trust.
Put the offer on Robosats: I offer 100k CC in exchange for 80k sats.
I am coming and take your offer, putting the sats on hold (with a hold invoice in Robosats) until you send me the CC through SN.
Once I received the CC I confirm in Robosats and you get the sats automatically.
Robosats act as a escrow service.
