They're ignoring a huge factor in dementia, which is metabolic disease - caused by a high-carb diet, cured by a low-carb/keto/carnivore diet. The evidence is mounting that carbs, over the long term, are toxic to the brain.
Just search for the term "sugar and alzheimers". Lots of recent studies will come up with some very strong evidence.
Yes, (refined) sugar is definitely not good either. Thanks for sharing. Scientific studies don't seem to have fully caught up yet on the potential benefits of the carnivore diet, so curious what the future will tell.
