- Wallets associated with the electric car manufacturer on Tuesday moved more than 11,500 bitcoin to wallets whose ownership is unknown, according to crypto data firm Arkham Intelligence. The Tesla wallets only retain about $6.65 worth of BTC – essentially nothing."

- Inflation in the U.K. dropped sharply to 1.7% in September, the Office for National Statistics said Wednesday, ramping up market expectations for a Bank of England rate cut in November. Economists polled by Reuters had expected the headline rate to come in at a higher 1.9% for the month, in the first dip below the BOE’s 2% target since April 2021.

- Almost from the moment Joe Biden stepped aside in favor of Kamala Harris, the concern trolling commenced. “Harris’s biggest political liability is that she may be seen as too politically extreme,” fretted very serious journalist Josh Barro before advising the new Democratic nominee to “run to the center.” Former Bill Clinton adviser Douglas Schoen concurred, confidently telling CNBC that “the key for her campaign is moving to the center.” To satisfy New York magazine political columnist Jonathan Chait, a mere “pivot” to the center would not be enough. Rather, he provocatively suggested, “Harris needs to adopt positions that will upset progressive activists.”

- NFL owners unanimously approved Jacksonville's $1.4 billion “stadium of the future” Tuesday, a decision that should keep the Jaguars in one of the league's smallest markets for at least another 30 years.

- YouTube has announced a significant update to its Shorts feature, allowing creators to upload videos up to three minutes in length starting from 15th October 2024. This extension gives content creators additional time to craft engaging stories and showcase their creativity while tapping into a growing audience for short-form content.

- The Grand Egyptian Museum will open 12 of its halls on Wednesday as a trial run in advance of the still-unannounced full opening. The megaproject, built near the famed Pyramids at a cost of more than $1bn, will open its halls for 4,000 visitors per day, said Tayyeb Abbas, assistant to the minister of antiquities. More than 100,000 artefacts of Egypt’s ancient treasures will be displayed in the world’s largest archaeological museum, according to the Egyptian state information website.

- Harris has been trying to boost her appeal to male voters, and The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcast’s in the country with an audience that skews 81 percent male, with more than 50 percent under 35 years old (according to a YouGov poll). Last week, Harris made headlines by going on Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy, which targets young female listeners.
