By now you should be a little sick of seeing this graphic, but on the other hand, you should also have a basic grasp of what you are looking at. The Eighth house is a bit of a "spooky house" in that it concerns the deeply hidden, merged, secretive desires of a native.
In this chart, these matters are emphasized more than usual, since Saturn is also sitting in there. Normally, the Eight house is ruled by Scorpio, but in this house we find Sagittarius instead. Saturn "sucks the joy out" of this placement, and increases fears. Faith is serious, deadly business here. It is not shared, and there are rules. Oh, and if you have some fancy cult or occultic knowledge, that's fine, but you'd best not talk about it or you are likely to wind up on the wrong side of the "elder".
For Austin, this means that the place is directly caught up in matters of faith and karma. It makes poor contact in the form of a square to Uranus in Pisces over in Aquarius's domain, which suggests that the responsibility for faith/education/religion are not issues that "flow smoothly" with compassion for humanity. Hard work, hard prayer, perhaps. Humanitarian kindness for the sake of Humanitarian kindness? Not bloody likely. Or, likely after something bloody?
Usually Saturn here gives a fear of old age, and sometimes old people. It can also provide a real fear of death itself. Generally, the desire to avoid limitation with eighth house matters is high, but also impossible. Power is structured in certain ways with direct spiritual intervention if necessary. Austin will not be using its power without the proper regard to authority, and if it does, the consequence is not far behind.

It's a knowledge/communication sign. Trouble with knowledge, however, is what to do with it once you have it.
