If is a public (announced) channel yes, that is the right decision. Even a month is quite long. A LN node that is not fixed / coming online after 2 weeks, is a trash node.

But is another story with private (unannounced) channels.... those usually could be more than 3-4 weeks offline. Mostly are from mobile nodes that were using your node as LSP.

So be careful which ones you have.
