I love the term "focal point" for describing Stacker News. I see it that way too.
This is my home base. I'm building out from here and hopefully helping to build SN up at the same time.
The potential for what this can be is virtually unlimited.

Yep, and since my circumstances around passport country, residence the past few years and also some things I'll get around to later I should be able to pull of stunts what would be much more risky than for most!
So in a way I owe going all in to the fight for freedom, even blowing my nyms & facing the Beast Machine in open battle ;-)
