I want much more worm sign. Bring it.

I heard the worm shot took a week each time. I would rather they worked on the story and made it more consistent with the book.

I like the worms tho
reply
Yeah, I do too, but they are not worth cutting so much of the other plot, setting and characters out of the movies.

With “Dune Messiah” they COULD try to adhere to the book more closely. I think they edited the movie in an incorrect way when they did not leave Alia in the plot. This rules out a lot of the plot line in “Dune Messiah” and “Children of Dune”. It is if the writers and director only read “Dune” without reading the others. What a waste of a good franchise!

I really enjoy the spicediver edit of david lynch's dune. It is a lot better than the original one he produced. But the Scifi channels Frank Herberts Dune was the best one made. Very accurate to the book. I remember watching it on a tv and taping it.

Where do you find this edit? Is up to the standards of the others?
reply
Its on the internet somewhere. I downloaded a copy in case it disappeared from youtube, which it seems to every so often. Its a lot better than the original david lynch dune movie.
reply
Don’t you have a URL or something to get there with?
reply
Seems it has disappeared from online. They published it and put it on some dvds. You might have to buy it now.
reply
Do you have the means to put it on a DVD from your hard drive? I might be interested in buying a copy.
I’ll go you one better, I copied it to DVD, all three discs! Tape is dead now.
