This was ridiculous... Every single platform I know about that does not require any cards failed, and in very obscure ways. Spotify as an example failed to actually publish, the last step did not work even on 3 devices and a couple of browsers!
Is it something I said? I even tried mixing up the text so that nothing freedom oriented could get flagged, but still the same... Would not surprise me if they've got AI running there now, and then simply do a "reverse shadowban"!
Anyway, I did do what I mentioned here #730748, more or less right away & improvised in one take.
Well at least its a start, even though the only thing that worked was an old, unused Bitchute account!
Yes I know there are solutions out there based on Nostr and so on, but the original intention was to get started with a platform again that propagates easily via .rss. The last time I started a podcast more than a year ago there were also all sorts of problems, even though the self-hosting I did worked, for next to zero downloads of course...
Actually its even a bit funny, an MVP should be unpolished and troublesome, getting pushed out the door into the world is the goal, and that in as short a timeframe as possible!
Clearly there are opportunities here, a podcast hosting platform that does sound and thumbnail image only, plus text and a rss feed that works when indexing could do well, of course based on Lightning to upload, and maybe even Nostr for login!
Well done

Thanks, and the very point with MVPs is to ship them ASAP, the data you'll get in return is always valuable, one way or another!
