I took these photos of my friend in my studio. She told me she needed some formal-looking photos for her professional portfolio, so I helped her out with these.
My friend wore a blazer to achieve that formal look she needed for these photos. We started with some full-body shots:
I took all the photos with my professional CANON RP camera, used a white backdrop and a 50mm lens at 2.2/f, and for the lighting, I used two light points, a speedlite flash with a 50cm softbox (main light) and an LED panel behind the person as a backlight (secondary light).
Then I took a medium shot; I personally prefer these types of photos closer to the person.
We added a chair to the set to create variety in the photos, and of all the ones we took, this was my favorite because her smile is so natural!
And to break up all the formality, I wanted to end with this photo, where she looks more loose and relaxed!
