I got pretty far into #2 here and I am going to give some constructive criticism. Others may disagree with me, so I'm curious to see if my comments make sense. The two of you come across as polite, intelligent individuals. I have listened to many sports talk shows and podcasts. I think you need to let your inner lunatic fan out more. More colloquialisms, some mild off color comments, and some well placed grammatical fails. Yelling is also effective.

Okay. I'm done.
I did enjoy what I have listened of episode 2 so far. I'll get back to it later this afternoon .

That's a very NY recommendation. We can try to dial it up, but I don't know if Canadians are capable of acrimony.

This is who @grayruby should model his podcast persona after.

There can only ever be one Don Cherry.

Do you know if NHL is doing another frozen frenzy this year?

reply

I'm not certain, but I wouldn't be surprised. It seems to be very popular. I thought the novelty would have worn off by now.

reply

It’s Tuesday.

Alright. Gotta spin up a Frozen Frenzy contest.

reply

Oh, I thought You meant the outdoor games. Yeah, Frozen Frenzy pool was fun last year.

In short the sports like enthusiasm and often listened sports shrill sounds were missing.
Am I right?

reply

These two are too smart and articulate. I say dumb it down!
(I am mostly joking)

Script suggestion for next week:
How bout da Yankees? Stanton? Dat fuckin guy. "

reply

No doubt about their smartness but your critical appreciation is also valid.

reply

I agree but thank goodness you guys at least don’t talk over each other! That would wreck it 💯

I was keeping an eye on the Yankees, Guardians game while we were recording and I almost cursed when Soto hit the homer to essentially win it. Next time I will aim not to restrain myself.
