It has been an exciting playoffs and we are finally down to two remaining teams who will compete for the 2024 World Series Trophy. The New York Yankees from the American League and the Los Angeles Dodgers from the National League.
Current Prize Pool: 14,223 sats
Here are our current standings:
There are 12 points available in the World Series. 8 points for correctly picking the winner and 4 bonus points for correctly picking the number of games the series goes. You must get the series winner correct to be eligible for the bonus points.
The World Series starts Friday. Pick submissions will be open until Friday at 6pm est.

Yupp! That's true. It'd be better if we had more than four players who are still living. But the fight has just come down to between @BlokchainB 24, points @Undisciplined, @DTom 20 points, me at 19 points, @supercyclone 17 points
It's easier for @BlokchainB he just requires his pick wins. Whereas I and @supercyclone will need a victory with bonus points and also it depends on others.

You could pick the same team as long as you don't pick the same amount of games as him. I don't recall if we have a tiebreaker. Might have been an oversight by me.

Yes, it was a tough pill to swallow. If they had won, I would have also won this challenge. I'll still go with NY's team. I've a strong feeling Dodgers are gonna make it very difficult for Yankees but ultimately Yankees will lead to glory. Fingers crossed.

Yes but this is the final of 4 rounds so it’s not possible for a new entrant to win as the leader has 24 points and the most you can score in the World Series is 12 points. But if you want to submit a pick for fun and bragging rights, have at it.

Ok but you didn't play the first 3 rounds so it is not possible for you to win as the leader has 24 points and you at most could get 12 so all you are playing for is bragging rights.
