That is true. I just dont get why they didnt use Sebastian Stan more? I thought he was great for his part.
That might've been circumstantial. He was tied into the Captain America and Black Panther storylines and Chris Evans retired and Chadwick Boseman died.

RIght. But I would go to the theatre if he had his own movie or storyline. At least it would be something I could understand. Not a fan of all these multiverses.

I also don't think they wanted to have another white guy leading a franchise, if they could avoid it.

Yet they have RDJ coming back. All they care about is making money, they dont care who leads.

My sense is that there are different levels of decision making.
At the highest level, you're right that they just want to make money and that will come through in the long-run.
At a middle layer, there are producers and directors who may be pushing a particular message. I've heard that Marvel fired a bunch of these woke producers, who they blame for the failures of the recent films.

I was reading up on the blade rewrite, seems like a woke director only had him in the film for 20 mins and had positive female messages throughout it. Feige led them well during the first phase, I dont know what happened? Did he lose control?
