“Freedom from fear” offers freedom from everything except the government. Anyone who sounds the alarm about excessive government power will automatically be guilty of subverting freedom from fear“
This is the straight deal. Fear generates the need for security in some people. When they trade security for their freedom, fear has done its work in the political sphere and done it well. Those frightened people surrender their freedoms and demand that everyone surrender theirs, too, so they can be “free of fear”. THEY worked out this trap long, long ago. To free yourself of fear, you have to do the inner work, yourself. Nobody else can do it for you.
They manage to keep people in a state of being afraid of fear: "Think how scary the world would be if we weren't protecting you."

Whenever I hear or read that, I laugh!. The worst they can do is to make you afraid of death. If you don’t fear that, they have no hold on you. People have to face the fact that we are all scheduled to die. We, the living, were born to die. It is inevitable and unavoidable, so why worry about it?
