I'm not gonna spend them. They are the best money I have

So what are you going to spend instead? If there is no better money than Bitcoin, why do you have something else? I spend Bitcoin because it's the only money I have, and the only money I will accept
reply
This is an interesting point, it almost makes Bitcoin pointless if it’s never used. Bitcoin is here to be spent and circulated, if no one is ever spending it, what’s the point of holding it at all? It doesn’t make much sense to just buy Bitcoin and hold onto it forever.
reply
Not buying anything physical but definitely zapped plenty of artwork posts. Art that shows Bitcoin feels like Christian rock to me. For me art needs to have something inexplicable going on.
reply
The comparison to christian art is apt. It can feel a little preachy or niche. At the same time, some pretty amazing art was created by religious fervor (Buddhas, christian icons, etc..) So maybe bitcoin art won't be so different than that. Someday the pepe memes will be in a museum next to the David...or perhaps not.

I feel you on that. Christian rock used to be real good tho

Where do you sell it

On the website mx12.art or the Bitcointalk art thread, you can view each artwork post and get one of my pieces. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5362071.0

For now I don't think about spending, just about accumulating more sats for my future.
reply
Where can you see and purchase Bitcoin artwork? Since I started down the rabbit hole I honestly haven't seen any.
reply
I have an art thread on Bitcointalk, the mx12art thread, and, of course, my website mx12.art. But there are also plenty of online galleries and Bitcoin art auction houses like Scarce City, BTC4ART, and more. A lot is happening in the space, and the movement is growing!
reply
Thank you very much, I will keep this in mind for my end-of-year art purchases.
reply
I spent BTC on art but it wasn’t Bitcoin art
reply
I create very interesting art that could even be your first Bitcoin piece! Just check it out, I’m sure you bought the artwork because you felt a connection to it. Or was there another reason?
reply
None, that's just stupid... (unless you shit with sats) lol
reply
What exactly is stupid? Using Bitcoin art to enhance the atmosphere at conferences? It feels different and welcoming when you enter a space with art, it adds something special. Or are plain white walls really the best choice for you, with no design at all? Art is also a way to take this culture to the next level. Bitcoin is much more than you might think. Just because it’s not for you doesn’t mean it’s stupid.

I am mx12Art. I’m a professional artist who is obsessed with quality unique arts. Many wield words like swords, I can express myself best through my art. Nowadays it is difficult to let out one’s feeling unfiltered. My outlet is art. Uncensored like the blockchain. Shaped by the harsh winds of Latvia and the freedom of the Internet , I am an artist who set out to beautify the world with Bitcoin and art.
For me, art embodies more than just strokes of paint, it encapsulates my journey, my struggles, and my resilience. You see, I believe I was destined to be an artist, reborn for this very purpose. Following a life-altering accident, art became my lifeline, my memory keeper. When I awoke from coma in 2015, everything was a blank canvas, no memories, no familiar faces. But as soon as I could move my hand, I picked up a pencil and began to sketch. From that day forth, I became a bitcoin artist, using my creations as a means to preserve my memories, my essence.
Each artwork, holds a special place in my heart as it represents my most cherished memories. It’s a piece of me, a fragment of my journey that I’m entrusting to you.
If you’re ever curious about my other artworks, you can find them all neatly organized in my art thread via Bitcointalk. Feel free to explore and discover more pieces that resonate with you.
