A friend and I decided to go see an outdoor concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center 2 or 3 years ago. Unfortunately, his dog died the day before so he wasn't up for going. We tried to find someone else to use his ticket, but no luck on short notice. Even though it was a long drive, I decided to go alone. The woodsy park where the concert venue is located probably has 20 different parking lots spread throughout the acreage. I forgot to check what lot I parked in. After the show ended around midnight, I trudged along in complete darkness along with younger, spacier, altered patrons wandering through the woods. It was surreal. I am an old guy who needs his meds. I wasn't alone. It seemed as if everyone was lost. People just sat down and started crying. It was getting late. I walked over to a cop car and explained my situation. The nice officer drove me around for over two hours trying to find my car. At one point I told him I felt bad putting him through this, and he said "don't worry about it, I'm on overtime." Gotta love civil servants at times like these.
By the time I found the car the sun was coming up. I should not have:
- Gone to the concert alone
- Forgotten where I had parked
- Left my meds in the car
FUUUUCK, that's soooooo crazy... typical too, because whooo pays attention to which parking lot they park at, really??

You’re not paranoid if it does happen sometimes!
