Hello Stackers!
It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" π.
From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.
This month we're bustin' ghosts!
So give me those spooky themed songs let's go!
Here's Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl!
Talk Music. Share Tracks. Zap Sats.
This is epic. https://youtu.be/sOnqjkJTMaA?si=y7JDIZwCYRxqapiZ
Thriller is always awesome. Such a classic and that dance is iconic.
Smooth criminal is also good. Where he does the vertical lean for the first time!
Yep, I remember seeing it for the first time and having my mind blown. He was an amazing performer. RIP π«‘
His performance was always spot on! I heard he practiced hours and hours before he performed.
Aaaawoooooooo

Cracking song.
Shaun of the Dead: Queen - Don't Stop Me NowShaun of the Dead: Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
Not a spooky song, but a good track to bash zombies to. Note, they beat the zombie to the rhythmn of the tune (tempo matched), a feature that director Edgar Wright loves to use in his films, such as Baby Driver

All the zombies (extras) outside the Winchester pub are from the fan club of the comedy "Spaced", which stars Nick Frost & Simon Pegg

For UK kids of the 70's and early 80's this show was unmissable, not only was it funny but we didn't have video recorders. So if you missed it, you'd really missed it.
Great lyrics, I still know them word for word
view on www.youtube.comI'm almost sad I missed this era. It looks hilarious π
It was superb, very funny. A pantomime as it were, just crazy funny. A comedy for kids that didn't speak down to them but spoke to them. I suppose the closest thing I can think of now is Horrible Histories.
Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra
view on www.youtube.comYes! Great choice. Got a lot of time for Steve Miller Band.
Metallica - Enter SandmanMetallica - Enter Sandman
The sandman is normally one who brings good dreams to children but Metallica flip that around and turn it in to a nightmare

How well do you know your '80's horror movies. This is the first time I fully remember hearing a CCR track and it was from this movie. Don't stray from the path An πΊπΈ πΊ in π

Thanks to a reply from a post I did the other day likening my post to a Tom Petty track from full moon fever. I went on full moon fever trip and there at the end of the album is this fantastic track.
view on www.youtube.comWhen he's not free falling, he's at the zombie zoo. Nice one 0b1.

Spooky scary skeletons send shivers down your spine! I always love this track, it's just fun.
I listened to that rob zombie album on repeat for a while when it first came out. Been a while.
I chose to not go for dragula, it was a tough decision but I thought dragula is the one that gets the most air time.
It was a great album.
Bowie!! π«‘RIP.
True legend. Great choice.
Nightmare on elm street
Will smith always makes me chuckle with his brand of inoffensive rap. Great choice.
