I am not sure but I think maybe she was sick because he took time off from the team earlier in the season for "personal reasons".

Just read the report from the 49ers that Charvarius Ward's one year old daughter died. Man that is just horrible. This season is beyond cursed. Wow, I can't imagine what they are going through.
