Technically, there are many chains which are longer than BTC. They have second-long blocktimes, for example. Its the "cumulative weight" of the PoW that makes BTC superior.

But isn't BTC still technically longer in human-made time, seconds, minutes, than any other POW blockchains? That's what I always understood it to be, the first successful cryptocurrency.
It's the oldest time chain, yes. But many digital currencies using cryptography existed before BTC.
Some were even successful enough to get banned by the state. Some, like hashcash, even used PoW.
But the fact that Bitcoin is oldest and still on top of the game is very Lindy
How long do you reckon before BTC adopts these potentially "useful features"?

The longest chain is the most important chain. Why should we all move to a blockchain with less history and less transparency? Bitcoin is already young enough. If there is anything useful about your shitcoin, Bitcoin can adopt its useful features.
