I see a touchdown is played when the game is tied in the end.

A touchdown ends the game in OT. If the team that gets the ball first doesn't score or just gets a field goal then the other team gets the ball. But if they score a touchdown the game is over.

Alright. So touchdown can happen at any stage in the game.

Yes. Anytime a team gets into the opponents end zone it is a touchdown. You get 6 points for a touchdown and then 1 more point for an extra point kick but you don’t kick the extra point if the touchdown wins the game because the point is meaningless. That’s why the Chiefs got 6 points.
