Mostly centered around social features
Onboarding new users remains a hurdle.
Seems sufficiently decentralized with the numbers we have now. Only around 10k daily active users last I checked, probably 5 major twitter clones, 4 telegram competitors, marketplace NIP working in cypher.space amethyst and shopstr, bunch of relays, spin up your own relay etc.
Imo it would be pretty funny if nostr remained niche. The user experience between 20 interchangeable and interconnected daily drivers, will be nice. Controlling your algorithm, social graph, and online identity is cool. Would be surprised if people didn't find that stuff attractive.

Mainly UI/UX
  • What are Relays
  • What are zaps
  • Hard getting followers
  • Feed doesn't show much if you only follow 250 freaks
  • A lot of slow and laggy beta clients
