Tough choice between 49ers and Bengals. Both have the talent and track records to be a lot better than they've been.

I picked the 49ers because they have more guys returning from injury.

49ers have a tough remaining schedule but they just need to win their division whereas the Bengals have no hope in their division so they will have to fight for the WC.

I would lean 49ers but let's see how CMC looks and if they can go a week or 2 without half the team getting hurt.

I do think they could be a contender for the points you mentioned but 2-6 is a tough hill to climb. They can probably only lose one more. Maybe 2 if the tiebreakers fall their way.
