Interesting. I didn't know there are already 1TB SD cards so this can indeed work.
I assume the wear and tear on SD cards is not too bad?

Disks evolving so quickly, so it's feasible :)
What about the impacts on performance and battery if we let it run 24/24 ? It must be bad.

Not all android devices are battery powered. A lot of TV boxes and such, or an old phone plugged in and sitting in the closet.
