I'm in Miami. I see more out of towners with masks, which makes me wonder why they bothered coming here to begin with.
reply
The sun, water and women bro..
reply
I still wear a mask 75% of the time especially on public transportation and in businesses that are very busy. And I'm fully vaxxed and boosted, it's just called being safe and being considerate.
reply
You forgot one thing. You can still catch it and spread it even if fully vaxxed and boosted. So how are you being considerate? Obedient is the word you're looking for.
reply
Probability is a word you might wanna look up.
Obedient is not a dirty word.
Pretty sure you were rather obedient in early 2000s when they made you take shoes off and get patted down at airports..
But sure, keep thinking you “bucked the system” and “thought for yourself” or whatever else gets you erect.

The probability the CEO of Pfizer gets covid yet again is 100% and supposedly he is fully vaxxed and boosted just like you.

5 sats for being fully vaxxed and boosted, -4 sats for using the moral high ground as your argument

I observe a high correlation between wealth and mask wearing.
At my supermarket and in my office everyone is wearing masks. At Aldis in working class parts of the city those pesky proleterians are not. I guess that their working class status, lower wealth, not wearing masks, buying Gucci etc all correlate.

Public transport requires you to use masks in Spain. The country is pretty backwards in that, but I have observed people are incredibly obedient to even the most stupid rules. After all, it is famous for its red tape
reply
There is nothing red about mask wearing. They just don't want to put vulnerable people at risk.
reply
I'm saying the country has a lot of red tape which makes people used to being obedient with things that make little sense and/or are not optimized to the fullest.

@tomlaies starting to sound like a troll. Defending/excusing Blackrock and now being partial to forced masking.
reply
On the Blackrock thing 1. you're pulling it out of context 2. It was a much more nuanced take but maybe your brain rot prohibits you from thinking so far
I'm pretty sure you're the provocateur and the troll here.
reply
Every now and then, you see strange things like this...😅🤔
reply
  1. what's strange about this?
  2. You taking voyeur pictures of strangers? Not cool!
reply
Yes, taking pictures of strangers is definitely not cool But that pic looks very close. So really weird if that was done in secret
reply
Why would you both so confidently assume that I took the picture? Or that the person is a “stranger”? 🤔
reply
Maybe we shouldn't have assumed that it was you (reading my comment again, I actually didn't write that it was you). But it looks like someone did and you spread it, enabling such behavior.
I think it's normal to assume it's a stranger when you mention "strange things".

I'm seeing a lot of Asian families still wearing masks. I'm guessing a lot are Chinese & are watching the news or social media from the mainland.
I'd like to ask why they're still wearing them, but it could turn into a controversial topic so I don't say anything
reply
The government is always listening. you'd probably have to get them into a faraday cage to have an honest conversation.
reply
Fuck the mask order!

go cry

Confirmed troll

I wanna know why all the Chinese people still wear it even the ones born here.
Do they know something?
reply
There is a fairly large Chinese population where I live and they frequently wore masks even before covid.
