the lower sat price of goods & services feels better than a higher $ price of bitcoin. the fiat numerology is very strong in people's mind.

pricing in months of rent & groceries that i got saved up is a much better measurement for now, more connected to reality.

it's funny how i would be willing to spend like 20,000 sats on a steak today, but only 1,000,000 sats (50 steak-equivalents today) on some fancy all-inclusive trip in the future or a new car. even that seems too expensive, unless it's for a big group of friends, and i get some sats back, lol
