I just noticed that I miss being able to "upvote" something multiple times on other sites.
Linking upvotes to something which is actually worth something really is a game changer.
Anyone else feels the same?

Another great thing that SN does is that it allows you to just browse the site without logging in.
Twitter is such a horrible site to visit without an account, it just pops up and disrupts your reading, asking you to login. Even if you login with email, it later asks you for your phone number. It feels so creepy.
Stacker News is a breath of fresh air in this centralized web.
Rather than logging in after they do that, I just edit the URL, replacing Twitter.com with Nitter.it
Problem solved.
There may be a plugin for your browser for automatic redirects to nitter.net
There is.
It's called "privacy redirect", check:
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/search/?q=privacy%20redirect
It works great, thanks!
yes, i completely agree with your sentiment. having the ability to one-click tip a sat or two as you consume material across the web is the killer app. it's a shame that brave browser missed the mark.
What do you mean with "it's a shame that brave browser missed the mark."?
Did they try something similar and but went into shitcoins?
precisely.
Haha, nice, I just did a wild guess. It's just too common it seems sadly.
Even Signal went down this road.
Yeah, brave does $BAT. It has some good ideas otherwise, you earn BAT frim ads, and can either tip them out individually to sites & social media accts, or press a button that spreads it out to all sites and accts that u visit that have BAT tipping enabled. Easy for them to b generous when they print the money.
SN or nothing nowadays
I feel you SN and other lapps are setting the standard, once you have your LN wallet connected via something like alby and you move between apps you get to see how the future of the internet should be like
I absolutely agree. In the future, social media companies will reward users for their attention. This is why projects like SN works so well compared to Twitter and Meta.
Sats are the new "Likes"
