Lions are just running wild on Jags.
You would think teams would at least try to stack the box and sell out to stop the run.

I have to say even though the Texans lost to them last week in my mind it was kinda a win because I though Detroit was LEAPS ahead of us

I think certain schemes can match up well against the Lions. You won't shut them down but you can control them enough to win on offense. A couple mistakes and a terrible missed call by the refs late cost you guys the game. You should have won.

I wont lie I slept through the game... I figured it was going to be brutal and decided a nap was a better move lol

Lions are a force. You stack that box and ARSB and Jamo are gunna eat you alive.

You have to pressure Goff. Look what happened last week when he was pressured. The problem is their OLine is awesome so easier said than done. Best way to beat them is to control the clock, keep their D on the field and not let their offense get in rhythm. They are really good but they have also been ridiculously healthy this year other than Hutchinson going down. I expect that won't be the case late in the season and maybe into the playoffs.

Yeah I agree, they may have the luck on their side and the longevity to survive the season.
Usually that's what it comes down to, who's the least beat up come playoffs.

Exactly. The one benefit for them is in games like today they can probably rest guys for the entire 4th quarter and they have given themselves a lot of cushion where if guys are banged up late in the year they don't have to push them to play.

A win is a win... But I do wish we'd just lions teams and drop 40+ on them.
I really think the lions may be the best team in the NFL right now. (As much as it pains me to say 🤣).
