I am using zebdee and wallet of satoshi now but both of them are custodial wallet and I now want to use non custodial wallet.

I don't know which one is the best (there are many), but the simplest for beginners (and for small amounts) is in my opinion Wallet of Satoshi (WoS).

@OT options are good ones.

I would also recommend running your own lightning node. It is a great bit of experience and is easier than one thinks.

reply

I will try it. Any recommendations.

I would grab a cheap pc ( something like this https://www.amazon.com/HP-Computer-PC-i7-6700T-Renewed/dp/B08VD4K6ZQ)

Add a new 2TB ssd

And install StartOS https://github.com/Start9Labs/start-os/releases/tag/v0.3.5.1

@BTCsessions video will give you a sense of what StartOS is like once you have it installed.

There's no "best" wallet. There's only the RIGHT wallet for each situation you use it. Choose wisely your LN wallet you want to use

reply

Okay I will remember that.

Phoenix, Electrum or Zeus

reply

I am trying phoenix.

UXUY Wallet ofc

reply

For non custodial wallets, you should choose Electrum and Phoenix or if you are little bit familiar with technicals of LN you should choose Zeus. One more option is Muun (it's not lightning really but accepts through Submarine Swaps) lot of people prefer it because of ease of use, but remember network fees can sometimes be a little bit high but anyway really good for use.

And why do you use ZebDee? It's literally shit

reply

I am downloading phoenix wallet.

It's a great choice as well! Best of luck

The substack guides links still remain the same, I will not delete them. Only that I will not update the substack and work / update only with the github repo. Now are all structured here: https://darth-coin.github.io/ in 5 main categories
